LITTLE LEAGUE

Little League takes all the fun and energy of Queer Dodgeball Toronto and brings it into a smaller, more personal setting. Games are played on a single court with slightly smaller teams so you still get the chaos of dodgeball, just with fewer people (8 teams instead of the 18+ you’ll find in the Classic League).

The best part of a social-first league? The people you meet! Each season, teams are randomized, and every Monday you’ll play three rounds – two 20-minute games and one shift as referee.

Our four big QDT events – the Draft Party, two themed nights, and the Closing Ceremony, plus weekly post-game hangouts at Pegasus, bring Little League and Classic players together to mix, mingle, and make new friends.

So come join us! Whether it’s your first season or your tenth, Little League is all about meeting people, finding your community, and getting your cardio in while throwing and dodging some balls.

RULES & VIBES

If you’ve played dodgeball in elementary school, you already know the basics: throw balls, dodge them, and catch them. We keep it light and playful because this is a queer-friendly little league, not the Olympics. We’re all here to have a good time, make new friends, and enjoy some wholesome, slightly chaotic, ball-filled Mondays together.

That said, respect and sportsmanship are non-negotiable. Aggressive, antagonistic, or negative behaviour on or off court won’t be tolerated and can lead to being removed from a game – or in more serious cases, the season or league altogether. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels free to play, connect, and just be themselves.

Before the season kicks off, please take a few minutes to read through the rules for Little League. Your team captains are always happy to help with any questions, clarifications, or wild “what if” scenarios (we’ve heard them all). You can also find the full rulebook PDF linked below for easy reference.

Most importantly: have fun! This league is about friendship, community, and joyful chaos – with some dodgeball thrown in to keep things spicy.
